DFD Russell Medical Centers is seeking current patients from Leeds, Turner, and Monmouth, and surrounding areas to serve on our Board of Directors. This is a volunteer position for those who care deeply about access to quality healthcare for all — especially those in rural areas. We’re looking for folks who bring a positive outlook and a desire to make a real difference.
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Be a patient of DFD
- Live in the Leeds, Turner, or Monmouth service areas
- Not be employed in the healthcare field
- Be willing to commit to one hour per month for a three-year term
- Be committed to supporting care for underserved and uninsured patients in our region

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the American Diabetes Recognition Program recently recognized all DFD providers who qualified for the Diabetes Recognition Program for providing quality care to their patients with diabetes.
